An xStock is a tracker certificate (bearer debt instrument) issued by Backed Assets (JE) Limited, a Jersey company. It tracks the share price and is backed 1:1 by shares held with regulated custodians in segregated accounts.

You do not own the share itself.
No voting rights, no information rights towards the company.
Dividends and stock splits are reflected by automatically adjusting token balances (rebasing).
Issuer and platform risk on top of the stock's own risk.
